Our Commitment to Safety

At Borough 22, safety, quality and trust are at the heart of everything we do.

All of our treats are certified gluten-free using ELISA testing and are made in a dedicated plant-based bakery. Our recipes are carefully developed using specially sourced ingredients, including gluten-free oats (containing avenin), to create products that are both inclusive and delicious.

As part of our allergen control programme, we do not intentionally use peanuts or tree nuts in our bakery. We have also worked closely with our suppliers to remove ingredients carrying declared peanut or tree nut warnings from our approved recipes wherever possible.

Our bakery operates under strict allergen management procedures and dedicated production controls designed to minimise the risk of cross-contamination.
