So good- never had a gluten free donut like it
After visiting the pop up at Selfridges I was hooked! My first doughnut in 16 years as I have wheat, dairy and egg allergies so not easy to cater for. They were so delicious I immediately ordered a box when I got home. I wasn’t disappointed they taste amazing!! I’ll be ordering my next box soon
Fabulous tasting doughnuts. Had an issue with the first delivery, which wasn’t their fault. A replacement order was sorted quickly. Can’t fault them
Decided to buy this box after trying the jam doughnuts, as I wanted a bit more variety. It was a nice selection to choose from and I enjoyed most of them. My favourite were the glazed ring doughnut, the jam one and the chocolate sprinkle ring one! They were so good warmed up and I could eat the glazed ones all day!! The custard one was a real miss for me but, that's more because I don't like custard. The doughnut itself was nice and I ended up squeezing all rhe custard out and then eating it. The cookies and cream one was nice but, as you have to warm it up, all the icing melted which was a bit messy. The strawberry ring was also okay but very very sweet and tasted a bit artificial. I desperately wish there was an option to build your own box because I'd love a box with just jam, glazed ring and chocolate ring doughnuts.
First time eating a custard donut Would recommend
So, so happy to have found Borough 22. My son can't have milk, egg or nuts and he can never have his own choice of any treats - only what is safe for him. His face was a picture when he knew he could choose anything from the shop! He couldn't believe it. A very happy boy. Thank you.
Wow just wow I need to try them fresh from your store next time as I had them delivered but omg I miss doughnuts and eating them again gluten free gave me so much joy!! Thank you will definitely be ordering again

The time frame allotted was 8am-8pm but it’s also outlined to eat them on the same day of delivery, by the time it got to us (7pm) they were quite sweaty and yet hard and dry. However my daughter was so happy to finally be able to eat a doughnut, she was delighted with the cookies and cream one. Sadly not sure the price was worth it.

Sadly the pink glazing had mostly come off in transit (packaging all intact) but despite this, the donuts are bloomin’ gorgeous! So handy too with being able to freeze them and having specific defrosting instructions included. Super tasty; initially they feel a bit dense but when warmed a little, they’re soft, spongy, tasty and satisfying. I will definitely be purchasing again. Would be lovely if you could make your own mix’n’match box of 6.
Best gluten free doughnuts ever! Got them for my partners birthday and he was so happy ☺️ all we’ve found before are the gluten free “cake nuts” so he was thrilled to have these and actually have a doughnut texture!!!

utterly delicious gift
These were bought as a present for my daughters birthday. The reply back was "what a fantastic present they were gorgeous!!"
Arrived in time and presented well. A few of my family are gluten and nut free so this purchase was for them. Everyone enjoyed the donuts and found it difficult to believe they were free from. Favourites were the jam and custard donuts, everyone loved those!
Came on time and were delicious so my daughter says as has coliac disease and cannot get donuts normally 👍👍

Having tried these at a GF fayre I enjoyed the jam one so thought I’d give the lux box a go. Warming them slightly to soften is the game changing step, it takes them from slightly heavy to that yummy, doughy hot donut vibe, super sweet and tasty! If you’ve had to go GF and you crave donuts these will put a sugary smile on your chops 😋
I was very excited to get my doughnuts, it's been decades since I last had one. Considering the heat, the doughnuts arrived in fairly good condition. The ring doughnut was the best in terms of freshness. The others were somewhat dry. I don't have a microwave to refresh them. I wouldn't buy them again by post. They are very expensive for a dry doughnut that needs to be reheated. I would buy one if it was freshly cooked on the day though.
All bar 2 of the donuts were actually edible. The rest were stale in texture, despite following heating instructions carefully. The cookies and cream one and the chocolate sprinkles one were the only 2 which tasted good, unfortunately. I am assured they are really nice when freshly baked and eaten straight away, but delivery just isn't a good idea for these I'm afraid. Way too expensive for stale donuts. Crave chocolate covered frozen ones are far nicer and cheaper.
I ordered this box of doughnuts for my coeliac daughter after Borough 22 was recommended to me by a gluten-free friend. They were delivered on time as previously agreed and my daughter was thrilled! She said they are the best gf doughnuts she has tried. The rest have been frozen so she can enjoy them later in the week.
Fab product quick delivery
The donuts arrived with the heatwave, and frankly the two iced donuts were quite melty. My freezer was full so I put the box in the fridge and followed gentle heating instructions. They were still very firm but the flavours are excellent, not chemical like others we've tried. Custard was the favourite though all were tasty.
Ever reliable quality and consistency. Superb texture with great chew factor. All family enjoy these donuts despite not having wheat intolerance.
Super tasty and perfect warmed up! So nice to have a gluten free option without it feeling like a hassle! Loved them and would order again.

Wonderful donuts
I haven’t had a decent doughnut since my coeliac diagnosis in 2021. I am currently pregnant and have been craving doughnuts! This order may have saved the lives of those around me who could not supply me with good quality gluten free doughnuts prior to discovering you deliver. Wholeheartedly, thank you. They were incredible.
These were not for me, but a present for my Coeliac grandsons birthday. He said that they were ok, but he preferred a different suppliers doughnuts. Harsh but a 10 year olds opinion is as valid as anyone else’s. As he didn’t offer me one I can’t agree or disagree. Still, 4 stars is still good.
Lovely doughnuts - need to eat them quickly though as they dry out after a day or so. Not a problem in our house! Best eaten on the day they are delivered.

These gluten-free doughnuts have a cardboard-like taste and are among the worst I have sampled, especially considering their price point. Adhering to the heating instructions provided did not improve their taste or texture. I cannot recommend this product.
