Ingredients used in borough 22 doughnuts

At Borough 22 we pride ourselves in using the best ingredients we can get our hands on to bring a consistently high standard to our products. Our doughnuts have been certified gluten free to below 5 parts per million based on the ELISA MET021 method.

We only use chocolate from Willie’s Cacao which has been certified dairy free, gluten free and suitable for vegans and of course is of the highest possible quality. See below for a list of our standard ingredients for our doughnuts and glazes.

  • Doves Farm gluten free rice + gram flours (chickpea flour), baking powder, bicarbonate of soda + xantham gum

  • Shipton Mill gluten-free rice + gram flours (chickpea flour) or buckwheat flour for Low FODMAP, potato + tapioca starch

  • Kent Bramley apples or, where requested, bananas for Low FODMAP

  • Canadian maple syrup

  • Caster Sugar

  • Table Salt

  • Coconut oil or, where requested, ‘Pure’ certified vegan, gluten & soya free sunflower spread

  • Icing sugar

  • Ground cinnamon

  • Kent raspberries

  • Hibiscus tea

  • Vegan hazelnut and cacao spread

  • Bonne maman raspberry conserve

  • Dark chocolate (vegan)

  • Rice milk

  • Gluten-free cornflakes

  • Coconut milk powder
